Italy’s Tecnica Group posted revenue of €173.8 million ($203.2 mm) in the first half, up by 1.3 percent on the same period a year ago as gains among its winter segment (Nordica, Tecnica, Blizzard) and Moon Boot offset a decline at Lowa.
The figures were included in the financial statements of Italmobiliare SpA, a Milan-based investment house that owns a 30.9 percent stake in Tecnica Group.
Italmobiliare said in its statement, “The winter segment (Nordica, Tecnica, Blizzard) and Moon Boot performed well, growing by 23.6 percent overall and with a healthy backlog for the second half of the year. Lowa recorded a contraction in the first half of the year, mainly due to comparison with a period that benefited from the recovery of orders not fulfilled at the end of 2024. However, the decline is gradually decreasing compared with what was seen in the first quarter.”
Tecnica Group’s adjusted EBITDA in the half was a negative €11.4 million, slightly better than a loss of €11.4 million a year ago.
