La Sportiva, the Italy-based, family-owned technical apparel and footwear company focused on mountain pursuits, reported that it is investing €20 million (~$23 mm) in infrastructure, worker wellbeing and training programs. The company said, “The investment will primarily support the construction of its new headquarters in Ziano di Fiemme (pictured above), which will include expanded on-site production space and underground parking.”

The new Ziano di Fiemme HQ is scheduled for completion in 2027 and was imagined as an expansion of the current La Sportiva campus.

The new HQ will cover a total area of 8,568 square meters (1,540 sqm of built space and a 2,720 sqm underground level, of which 2,466 sqm will be parking). The project is expected to integrate new workspaces and production areas with facilities designed for employees, including an indoor climbing gym.

The company, focused on the building’s impact on the local environment, stressed that adding underground parking is expected to help “improve employee wellbeing” while reducing pressure on parking availability in the Ziano industrial area.

The company is undertaking the new headquarters project following strong 2025 performance. La Sportiva reported consolidated sales of ~€213 million (~$240 mm) in 2025, up in double digits from the €176 million (~$190 mm) it delivered in 2024.

The company’s chairman, president and CEO, Lorenzo Delladio, said the “infrastructure and employee wellbeing projects are the foundation for their future growth and ability to attract talent.”

“In a challenging global geopolitical context, La Sportiva’s positive results confirm the strength of our path and the consistency of the choices we have made over time,” shared Delladio. “Our long-term vision remains our guiding principle and directs investments in people, in our territory, and in the development of increasingly innovative and technical products, always keeping our identity and product quality at the core. In a unique local context such as Val di Fiemme, where business and community are deeply interconnected, we continue to invest to demonstrate that doing business in the mountains is both a viable and competitive choice. Infrastructure, welfare and a strong focus on people remain key pillars of a development model that looks to the future of both the company and the territory, with the aim of continuing to attract and welcome new talent.”
