Korea-based golf simulator specialist Golfzon has named Lisa Fahey as president of Golfzon America, bringing more than 25 years of experience across sports technology, SaaS, and consumer brands to the role.
Fahey will be responsible for leading Golfzon’s U.S. strategy and growth as the company expands its indoor golf and simulator business. She joins from Tiptoe Tickets, where she served as COO and led U.S. expansion, and previously held senior leadership positions at FanCompass, Annie’s, PepsiCo, and Kraft Foods over a more than 25-year career.
The appointment comes as Golfzon strengthens its presence in the U.S. Earlier this year, the company established its Global Business Division in Northern Virginia, making the region its global business hub.
“When Golfzon established its Global Business Division, we made a commitment to our customers and partners to deliver a premium product and service experience, speed innovation time-to-market, and provide more dedicated, localized support. Adding a leader of Lisa’s caliber strengthens our ability to rapidly fulfill that vision,” said Sean Pyun, CEO, Golfzon America. “Lisa brings a proven track record of transforming ambitious ideas into scalable businesses across sports technology, SaaS, and consumer markets. Her ability to combine strategic vision with operational excellence will be instrumental as Golfzon America builds on its leadership position in the growing and dynamic simulator golf market.”
Fahey added, “I’ve been impressed by the momentum Sean and his team have already built. The past year alone has seen the successful launch of the largest Golfzon Tour season yet, expanded access for golfers through the CityGolf partnership, as well as pioneering relationships with the USGA, Pebble Beach, and other industry-leading partners committed to reshaping how the sport is played and experienced. I’m eager to help turn that momentum into Golfzon’s next chapter of growth.”
Golfzon is the official simulator of the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open and hosts three professional virtual golf tournaments: two in Korea (GTOUR and WGTOUR) and the international Golfzon Tour, launched in 2024.
