Golden Goose Group S.p.A., the Milan-based premium fashion sneaker brand, reported sales grew 13 percent in the first half (H1) to €342.1 million ($399 mm), led by continued DTC (direct-to-consumer) expansion. Sales were up 14 percent in the second quarter, up from a 12 percent gain in the first quarter.

The gains were led by DTC, which saw revenues jump 19 percent year over year in the six months, representing 77 percent of sales, up from 73 percent in the first half of 2024.

By region, sales in the half were up 18 percent in EMEA, 8 percent in the U.S., and 9 percent in APAC. DTC sales were up 26 percent in EMEA, 15 percent in the Americas and 14 percent in APAC.

Adjusted EBITDA reached €113 million, up 3 percent, with an EBITDA margin of 33 percent.

Golden Goose reached 225 stores at the end of the first half, with 10 new openings during the period. Highlights include the opening of new stores in Hyundai Jungdong, Singapore-Paragon, Manila, Ibiza, and Venice Airport and a stand-alone store focused on kids in Dubai.

Golden Goose also noted that it formed sports marketing partnerships with tennis stars Jasmine Pasolini and Zizou Bergs, as well as padel pros Marta Ortega and Juan Lebron. It also introduced a campaign supporting its Super-Star sneaker with actress Jane Fonda and one for its True-Star sneaker featuring Paolini.
