The Giant Group reported its first monthly year-over-year growth trend in May 2026 since a sharp jump in shipments in February 2025 and only the second positive month since August 2024.

May 2026 shipments grew 5.8 percent to NT$5.36 billion after the company hinted at a reversal of fortunes when sales dipped just 1.8 percent year-over-year in April 2o26. The April decline was the smallest year-over-year monthly decrease in sales since those same February 2025 results. The April decline also came after first quarter results fell 20.3 percent to NT$16.06 billion, full-year 2025 sales dropped 15.4 percent, and full-year 2024 sales declined 7.4 percent.

Last month, SGB Executive asked rhetorically if the April 2026 trend signaled a turnaround. This performance builds on that possibility.
