UK-based Footasylum announced plans to open a new 12,000-square-foot store at Trinity Leeds in England in April 2026. The footwear and sportswear omni-channel retail company said the additional store follows the “strong performance of its former store at The Core shopping centre and last year’s successful pop-up at Trinity Leeds.”

“Leeds has always been a strong market for Footasylum,” commented Shannon Osman, the company’s head of Retail. “The response to our pop-up in the Trinity shopping centre last year, and our previous store at The Core, demonstrated clear demand for a bigger, permanent Footasylum presence in the city, and we’re delighted Trinity provided the right opportunity to do that.”

Osman continued, “This store represents an important step as we continue our rollout across the UK and beyond under Aurelius’ ownership. Investing in high-quality retail spaces remains central to our multi-brand, multi-channel strategy, and we look forward to further openings in the year ahead.”

Trinity Leeds is the city’s largest shopping and leisure site with over 120 stores, cafes, bars, restaurants, and a cinema. The company expects the store opening to create 24 jobs and offer a diverse mix of third-party brands alongside Footasylum labels, including Monterrain, Forena, Dripmade, and Epic Kind.

The company said the Trinity Leeds store will form part of Footasylum’s ongoing UK store rollout, following recent openings at Cornmill Centre in Darlington, Croft Retail and Leisure Park in Bromborough, and Forster Square shopping centre in Bradford.

Footasylum also reported that it continues to progress in its international expansion program following the signing of a distribution agreement in November 2025 with MAD agency for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In addition, a new strategic partnership with Apparel Group was signed in December 2025, setting in motion plans to open Footasylum stores across the Gulf Cooperation Council region (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman).
