Anta Sports Products, Ltd. (Group), which operates retail stores in China for the Anta brand, as well as Fila, Descente, Kolon Sport, and Amer Sports, reported that retail sales, in retail value, for the Fila brand increased low-single digits year-over-year in the third quarter.
That marks a slowdown from retail growth for the Fila brand in China in the mid-single digits year-over-year in the second quarter and high-single digits in the half.
Retail sales for the Anta brand in the third quarter of 2025 likewise experienced low-single digit positive growth. Anta’s retail sales in China increased by low-single digits in Q2 2025 and grew by mid-single digits in the first half.
All Other Brands, including Descente and Kolon Sport, but excluding Amer Sports Corp. businesses under Amer Sports Holding, (Cayman) Ltd.’s joint venture, saw 45 percent to 50 percent positive growth as compared to the same period in 2024 in the third quarter. Sales for All Other Brands were up in the range of 60 percent to 65 percent in the second quarter and surged between 70 percent and 75 percent in the half.
The company said retail sales refer to the revenue, inclusive of value-added tax, if any, from sales to consumers transacted in brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce platforms, part of which are owned and operated by the Group and the rest being owned and operated by the Group’s distributors, franchisees and/or distributors’ franchisees.
Retail sales do not represent the Group’s total revenue; however, the Group considers them a key business operational indicator for its various brands.
