Ecco has promoted Neal Taylor, CEO of its Americas region, to EVP, global chief commercial officer. Adam Meek, formerly at Dr. Martens, joined Ecco as EVP and chief product officer. Both will join the Danish footwear company’s executive board.
Taylor has been CEO Americas since March 2025. He was formerly SVP global commercial, Hanesbrands Inc. He also held various management positions at Reebok from 2007 to 2022. Taylor will continue to guide the Americas division.
Taylor posted on LinkedIn:
“Over the past 18 months leading our North America business, I’ve seen firsthand the power and potential of this brand — the craftsmanship, the people, and the passion behind it. That experience makes this next chapter even more meaningful.
I’m grateful to work alongside Thomas Gøgsig and Marco Bossen and fired up to team up with our new chief product officer, Adam Meek , as we build on what makes Ecco special.
Looking forward to working closely with our teams in Denmark and around the world as we write the next chapter together.”
Meek was chief product officer at Dr. Martens from December 2021 to January 2026. He then took a six-month sabbatical and worked as a product and brand advisor. Prior to his time at the British footwear provider, he was general manager for the footwear and accessories divisions at Canada Goose.
Meek said on LinkedIn:
“Throughout my career, I have been drawn to brands with real substance, and Ecco has a rich heritage based on innovation, craftsmanship, quality and comfort. This DNA gives the brand enormous potential, and I am excited to see what can be achieved.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the business and its people. And excited to work alongside Thomas Gøgsig & Marco Bossen, and teaming up with our new Chief Commercial Officer Neal Taylor.
“Excited to help write the next chapter together.”
