Anta Sports Products, Ltd., which operates retail stores in China for the Anta brand, as well as Fila, Descente, Kolon Sport, and Amer Sports, reported that retail sales, in retail value, for the Anta brand in the first quarter saw high-single digit positive growth.
The performance marked some recovery after the Anta brand’s retail sales declined by low single digits in the fourth quarter.
Fila brand’s retail sales in China increased low-teens in the first quarter as compared to the same period in 2025, an acceleration after seeing growth in the mid-single digits in the fourth quarter.
All Other Brands, including Descente and Kolon Sport but excluding Amer Sports Corp. businesses under Amer Sports Holding, (Cayman) Ltd.’s joint venture, recorded growth in the range of 40 percent to 45 percent in the first quarter after climbing between 35 percent and 40 percent in the fourth quarter.
The company said retail sales refer to the revenue, inclusive of value-added tax, if any, from sales to consumers transacted in brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce platforms, part of which are owned and operated by the Group and the rest are owned and operated by the Group’s distributors, franchisees, and/or distributors’ franchisees.
