Everlast Worldwide Inc. has signed a new license with Difusion Deportiva, S.A DE C.V. to distribute boxing equipment in Mexico. Difusion, a longstanding Everlast licensee since 1986 for men's, women's and children's apparel and accessories, will distribute Everlast branded boxing equipment to sporting goods chains and better department stores. The license covers a variety of fitness equipment including boxing gloves, heavy bags, exercise, cardio, weight lifting, aerobic and martial arts equipment. Difusion Deportiva will also distribute professional and amateur boxing equipment to gyms and specialty sporting goods stores in Mexico. Initial shipments under the license are expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2007, which will be highlighted by our new Country Pride line featuring Mexico and USA branded boxing equipment.

Seth Horowitz, chairman, president and CEO of Everlast Worldwide, said, “We are excited to bring Everlast boxing equipment to the Mexican market where the Everlast brand is very highly regarded. By utilizing our current sourcing and fully developed equipment line, Difusion will be able to penetrate the sporting goods market in a short period of time. This new license for boxing equipment with Difusion is an important step in our growth as a premier brand in Latin America and demonstrates the strength the Everlast brand has in the sport of boxing worldwide.”

David Dichi, president of Difusion Deportiva, said, “We are pleased to be adding the Everlast boxing equipment category to our already successful Everlast business in Mexico. Mexicans have long embraced great boxing champions like Marco Antonio Barrera and continue to view boxing as one of the country's premier sports. This category will drive home the authenticity of the Everlast branded assortment that will resonate extremely well with the consumers in our region.”
