Everlast Worldwide Inc. will partner with ProCamps, which operates and manages youth sports camps nationwide.

As part of the partnership, Everlast will create and operate cross-training fitness stations that will introduce boxing and MMA driven exercises to each camp attendee. In addition to the fight sports based training stations, all ProCamps nationwide will incorporate Everlast equipment into traditional training drills.

“Today’s athletes continue to explore new training methods to gain an edge on their competition,” said Matt Cowan , EVP Marketing, Sales and Product for Everlast.  “The core benefits of fight sports training; hand-eye coordination, speed, strength and conditioning, translate very well to other sports such as football, basketball and baseball.” Since adopting fight sports based exercises to their off season training, many top-tier athletes, such as pro football star, Reggie Bush , are finding added success on the field of play. “Our goal is to educate the next generation of athletes on the physical and mental benefits that fights sports training can bring to their primary sport.”

Everlast has selected five feature camps that will promote the “Everlast Cross-Training” station; the Arian Foster Football ProCamp (May 4-5, Pearland, TX), the Reggie Bush Football ProCamp (June 15-16, San Diego, CA), the Ben Roethlisberger Football ProCamp (June 17-18, Harmony, PA), the Eric Decker/Demaryius Thomas Football ProCamp (July 10-11, Denver, CO) and Carmelo Anthony ‘s Camp Melo (Aug 3-4, New York, NY).

Everlast equipment and apparel is available at everlast.com and sporting goods retailers nationwide.
