Everlast Worldwide announced that it had entered into a licensing agreement with Alantic Sports Pte. Ltd. of Singapore for the launch of Everlast-branded men's, women's and children's apparel; underwear; footwear; socks; and sports bags in Singapore and Malaysia. The new Everlast products will be launched mid-2004 and will be available in stand-alone Everlast brand shops and concept shops in the major department stores in these two countries.

George Q Horowitz, chairman and CEO of Everlast Worldwide Inc. said, “Our agreement with Alantic Sports comes on the heels of expansion into Taiwan via our licensing arrangement with Joint Power. International expansion, particularly in important Asian markets, remains a cornerstone of our corporate growth strategy as we look to launch a family of Everlast products throughout the continent. We are also finding Asia to be a fertile market for expansion given the population's high degree of interest in boxing and the martial arts as well as penchant for uniquely American icons such as the Everlast brand.”

“Everlast is a brand that enjoys a global reputation due to its vast appeal and should be enthusiastically received by our consumers,” said Gary Gan, managing director of Alantic. “We look forward to an extremely successful launch of our Everlast products in Singapore and Malaysia.”

Mr. Horowitz concluded, “Alantic is a well-established and highly-trusted company. The company possesses a considerable history in the athletic and sports apparel and shoe markets and is an ideal licensee for Everlast. We will continue to enter into licensing agreements with quality licensees such as Alantic in both the U.S. and international markets as we enhance our global brand stature.”
