Everlane appointed Shu Hung as global creative director. She previously worked for Uniqlo and Nike.

Hung joins Everlane from Uniqlo, where she spent five years serving as global executive creative director. In this role, she was responsible for building an in-house creative team across the company’s offices in Tokyo, Portland, New York, Shanghai, and Paris. She helped launch the Uniqlo U collection and managed collaborations with designers including JW Anderson and Jil Sander.

Previously, she worked for Nike as part of the brand marketing team and managed projects including the London Olympics, Nike Training Club and NikeLab.

“Shu is a clear leader in the creative industry. I’m thrilled to welcome her to Everlane to lead the brand creative team toward the next evolution as we scale the brand globally,” said Sophie Bambuck, Everlane’s recently-hired chief marketing officer. Bambuck was previously Nike’s global vice president of brand marketing at Nike Sportswear.

Everlane also recently appointed Matt Gehring to serve as its first general manager of e-commerce.
