Etnies has agreed to a partnership with BMX distributors Blackout Distribution. The deal will allow Etnies to sell their BMX-specific shoes and apparel in BMX shops around the country. Distribution is set to begin immediately.

To celebrate and solidify the new deal, the Etnies BMX team and Blackout Distribution went on a tour and documented it all with a video edit “That Trip We Went On,” which can be watched on etnies.com.

“As one of the first shoe companies in the action sports community to embrace BMX by designing footwear specifically for BMX riders, we are so glad to be partnering with such a reputable distributor in the BMX realm,” said Mike Regan,
Etnies brand director. “With our first BMX team formed over fifteen years ago, we remain committed to working with the best companies and riders out there.”

Starting immediately, Blackout Distribution will distribute
Etnies footwear and apparel to BMX shops throughout the U.S., expanding etnies’ current availability of BMX products.

“We are so excited to be working with etnies. It is a brand that we ride in, believe in and trust,” said Zack Phillips, president of Blackout Distribution.  “They are the only shoe brand that we would be proud and enthusiastic to distribute.  We have been building Blackout for over 15 years preparing ourselves for etnies, the premier shoe brand in BMX. We are honored to be carrying the entire etnies line and making it available to all our customers.”

The etnies x Blackout Distribution BMX Tour included stops in California and Colorado with riders Aaron Ross, Sean Sexton, Lloyd Wright, Geoff Slattery, Tony Hamlin, Tom Dugan and Nathan Williams.
