Essential Gear has launched a new branding initiative designed to build awareness. The new brand will be called “eGear” and made its debut at the Outdoor Retailer Show. In addition to the new eGear brand, the company unveiled a newly designed logo and tagline that will be featured on all corporate identity materials and packaging.

“We’re excited about the new branding effort,” said Robert F. Walker, Jr., eGear’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. “Since the company was founded, we have continually sought to bring brighter products to market, both literally and figuratively. With our new brand identity program underway, we can now begin to take the steps necessary to grow the company while continuing to provide our customers with affordable high quality gear and accessories.”

“This re-branding effort has been in the planning stages for some time,” said Susan E. Martin, President of Essential Gear. “We wanted to develop a brand position that communicated our company fundamentals and ability to deliver innovative products that exceed our customers' expectations. We felt the time was right to launch this new initiative and we’re eager to see the reaction we get at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City.”
