The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted a sought-after amendment to Buzz Off Insect Shield, LLC,'s insect-repellent clothing registration. This change is based on careful review by the EPA of Buzz Off Insect Shields proprietary process and formula, and extensive test data supporting the claim of increased longevity. Buzz Off Insect Shield for apparel is now EPA registered to provide effective insect protection through 70 washings, almost three times the initial claim of 25 washings achieved in July 2003.
