Eastern Outdoor Reps Association (EORA) reports steady attendance at its August trade shows in Greenville, SC, and Killington, VT, which drew retailers and reps from 18 states.

Over 500 product lines were shown in Greenville, with 385 booths and 155 reps participating. In addition, a special screening of “The Long Start to the Journey,” a documentary film about hiking the Appalachian Trail with special guest Chris Gallaway, the film’s director, was well attended.

In Killington, there were over 360 product lines, including 55 from the bike industry. The special performance by American world class professional freeride and trials mountain bike rider Jeff Lenosky was a hit, with Jeff staying late to sign autographs after the show.

Next up for EORA are December shows in Greenville, SC, (December 1-3) and Ellicott City, MD (December 9-10).

EORA is a not-for-profit association that produces regional tradeshows that bring together over 500 sales reps and 2,300 retailers each year in the Eastern U.S. Initially focused on traditional specialty outdoor, EORA has since expanded to encompass a wide array of retail categories, including lifestyle, specialty run, bike, resort, paddle sports, and more. EORA was founded in 1979 and has grown steadily in membership over the years.
