Eastern Outdoor Reps Association (EORA) reports attendance increased at its  trade shows in Manchester, NH, Somerset, NJ, Greenville, SC, and Lakeland, FL last month.

Nearly 300 product lines were shown in each location, with a focus on softgoods, footwear, and accessories, among other categories.

Next up for EORA are shows in Ellicott City, MD and Manchester, NH July 15-16, as well as August shows in Greenville, SC (Aug. 17-19) and Killington, VT (Aug. 24-26).  The Greenville show will feature a special screening of The Long Start to the Journey, a documentary film about hiking the Appalachian Trail with special guest Chris Gallaway, the film’s director, on hand to answer questions.

EORA is a not-for-profit association that produces regional tradeshows that bring together over 500 sales reps and 2,300 retailers each year in the Eastern US. Initially focused on traditional specialty outdoor, EORA has since expanded to encompass a wide array of retail categories, including lifestyle, specialty run, bike, resort, paddle sports, and more. EORA was founded in 1979 and has grown steadily in membership over the years.
