EORA (Eastern Outdoor Reps Association) is launching an Outdoor Opportunity Grant Program beginning in January 2013. In an effort to support local communities in each of its three (3) eastern regions it currently serves, the EORA is looking for a few non-profits that may need some financial assistance with their youth oriented outdoor programs.

Each region (Mid-Atlantic, New England and the Southeast) will have access to grant funding of up to $1,000.00 and each applicant must be a charitable non-profit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status.

This program, while beginning in a small way, reflects the philosophy of EORA's membership by encouraging the engagement of youth with the great outdoors through educational activities.

To apply for this 2013 Grant, please visit www.EORA.org or contact the EORA offices at 828-252-7956. The 2013 application deadline is Oct. 31, 2012. All accepted applications will be notified by Dec. 31, 2012.
