Elan Sports has named Ben Fresco, previously U.S. director of Product and Marketing, as its new head of Global Product, expanding his responsibilities beyond the U.S.
In this new role, Fresco will lead Elan’s global product strategy in partnership with Klarisa Veselič, the product operations lead from the company’s headquarters in Slovenia.
“The U.S. market has been an incredible proving ground during my time with Elan,” offered Fresco. “In my new role, I’m excited to embrace a global perspective, leverage the full capabilities of our factory, and develop the next generation of skis that give our dealers the confidence to deliver exceptional performance to skiers season after season.”
The company has also appointed Jeff Mechura, CEO of Elan USA, to an additional role as global chief brand officer, overseeing brand, marketing, product, and design.
Other key moves designed to further strengthen the U.S. business include the promotion of Dan Morey to Sales & Product Coordinator for the U.S., who will join the Lebanon-based team to support Elan USA VP of Sales, Rob McCutcheon. Morey is expected to play a key role in customer service, dealer support, and marketing execution.
“These leadership updates reflect both the strength and depth of our team,” said Leon Korošec, director of Elan Sports Division. “By expanding Ben’s impact globally and reinforcing our U.S. operations, we enter the upcoming season with fresh energy, strong alignment, and a clear focus on supporting the North American market and our dealer network.”
