Noted eCommerce authority Keith Anderson (Vice President, Strategy & Insights, Profitero, Inc.) will deliver the retail keynote at the 2014 SFIA Industry Leaders Summit. The Summit, presented by Electronic Transaction Systems (ETS) Corp., will be held September 16-17 at The Drake Hotel in Chicago.

Having advised large-scale retailers and consumer goods brands, including Walmart, Kroger, Procter & Gamble, Safeway, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, Kellogg’s and SC Johnson on their eCommerce commercial strategy, Anderson will share the philosophies and strategies that have helped these leading brands adapt to the continuously evolving digital world.

“Last year, our “Future of Retail” session was one of the highest rated presentations among our attendees,” said SFIA President & CEO Tom Cove. “Looking at the brands Keith’s worked with and how successful their eCommerce strategies are, we’re confident his presentation will provide crucial insights our attendees can turn into action when they return to their companies.”

In his current role, Anderson leads the continuous innovation of Profitero's online solutions, helping global retailers and brands gain a deeper understanding of their online presence in order to optimize both their online and in-store sales. Having previously led the Digital Advisory Practice for RetailNetGroup, a global retail and technology strategy advisory firm, Anderson is a renowned commentator and advisor on eCommerce and digital shopper trends.

Further related to eCommerce, with the recent news of the largest security breach in history, including the hacking of over a billion usernames and passwords from over 400,000 websites, the 2014 Summit will feature a Cyber Security panel informing attendees on the latest cyber threats and trends as well as provide guidance that can prevent their companies from being a hacker’s next target. Expert panelists include Shawn Henry (President, CrowdStrike Services; Former Exec. Asst. Director of the Criminal, Cyber, Response & Services Branch, FBI), Dick Schaeffer (President, Riverbank Associates, LLC; Former Information Assurance Director, NSA), and Ed Vaughan (President & CEO, ETS Corp.).

“Digital Security is and will be a major challenge for our industry,” said Cove. “Although growing sales via eCommerce is vital, just as important is how to protect your brand and consumers from always-present cyber threats. Shawn, Dick, and Ed have seen it all when it comes to cyber security and we’re thrilled that they will be sharing their knowledge with our attendees.”

In addition to the aforementioned speakers, the list of confirmed presenters include Dr. Risa Lavizzo-Mourey (President & CEO, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation), Marvin Zonis (Professor Emeritus, Booth School of Business, University of Chicago), Shawn DuBravac (Chief Economist & Sr. Director of Research, Consumer Electronics Association), Arch Fuston (Creator/Executive Director, ACTIVEx Company Wellness), Chuck Runyon (Co-Founder & CEO, Anytime Fitness), and Eric Maddox (Author & U.S. Army).
