Ducks Unlimited, along with the nation’s top conservation organizations and leading outdoor manufacturers, will connect landowners and hunting enthusiasts with the people and companies responsible for the latest innovations in hunting and farming equipment and land management techniques at the first-ever Bass Pro Shops Land and Wildlife Expo Presented by RAM Trucks August 12-14, 2011, at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

“DU is very excited to be part of this expo, as it will be a good opportunity for us to speak with the outdoorsmen and women who want to know more about the very issues we work with everyday: conservation, land and habitat management and the rich tradition of waterfowl hunting,” Randy Graves, DU’s chief administration officer, said.

DU will showcase an exhibit at the expo’s 105-acre Outdoor Village, which will feature hands-on vehicle and equipment demonstrations, crop and food plot exhibitions and kid-friendly activities. DU representatives will also present seminars during the two-day Mossy Oak True North Seminar Summit, where land owners and managers interested in improving their land management plans will hear tips and strategies from more than 30 of the nation’s foremost experts from leading conservation organizations and government agencies. Seminar topics include: wildlife management; habitat management; forests, fields and wetlands; land ownership and assistance programs.

A Saturday night conservation dinner and private concert by recording artist Craig Morgan will round out the weekend’s festivities for an unforgettable, three-day experience.
