Dragon welcomed Aaron Checkwood as their new Global
Surf Team Manager. Aaron comes to Dragon with a lifetime of experience to help strengthen and build the Dragon team globally. Aaron will immediately take over the helm of the Dragon team.

Howard, Dragon's Founder and CEO. “He is a surf industry insider, is quick
to build relationships, he knows our team, and has an eye for talent. All
these things will help continue the momentum Dragon has built over the
years.”
Aaron, An Oceanside, California native, comes to Dragon from Body Glove
International. As Marketing Manager at Body Glove, Aaron oversaw the
marketing execution for the brand worldwide. Aaron¹s experience also
includes six years at Transworld Media as an editor including a role as
Senior Editor and Photographer at Transworld SURF. As Global Surf Team
Manager at Dragon, Aaron will utilize his experience in working with
Dragon's team to help the brand maintain it's elite status in the surfing
ranks while helping with the brands growth.
“Chuy Reyna has always been a hero of mine and I feel honored to try and
fill his huaraches,” Said Checkwood. “Dragon's like a homecoming for me
because I'll not only be close to my family and friends, but I'll be working
with old friends as well. It's a win-win situation.”
