Dr. Marten’s Chief Product Officer, Adam Meek, is stepping down. He has held the role since December 2021.

Meek wrote in a LinkedIn post, “After four unforgettable years, I’ve now stepped away from my role as chief product officer at Dr. Martens. Leading product merch, design, development, and innovation for such an iconic global brand — and working alongside incredibly talented teams across the world — has been a privilege. Together we navigated complex change, sharpened brand clarity, evolved the product architecture and portfolio, and delivered new energy into the market which is exciting consumers around the World.

“I’m proud of the work we did to reconnect product to purpose and consumer, to strengthen the brand and to bring fresh ideas to life at scale. Most of all, I’m grateful and thankful for the brilliant people I had the chance to work with — and the many friendships formed along the way. The people at Docs are special.

“As I look ahead, I’m excited about the next chapter in my life — continuing to build, create and lead at the intersection of brand, product and consumer.”

Prior to joining Dr. Martens, Meek was general manager of Footwear and Accessories at Canada Goose from January 2020 to December 2020; global senior vice president of Product at Sperry from January 2016 to January 2020; and director of Merchandising Sportswear for Nike from December 2014 to December 2015. Prior to Nike, he spent seven years at Pentland Brands. His last role was global head of Product and merchandising at Lacoste Footwear.
