Cycling Sports Group (CSG), which supplies Cannondale and other bicycle brands to independent bicycle dealers (IBDs), has promoted Nick Hage to the role of general manager of its U.S. IBD channel and appointed Steve Reeds SVP of operations.

Hage has been a key part of the U.S. CSG commercial organization for over six years and the day-to-day sales leader in the U.S. IBD for the past year.  He will report directly to Peter Woods, president and CEO, Dorel Sports, and will have the CSG IBD U.S. leadership team supporting him across marketing, sales, finance and operations.

Reeds has more than 20 years of experience in global operations and sourcing within the different Dorel Sports companies. He will also report directly to Woods, providing a clear, single-point accountability for the entire CSG supply chain. Reeds will help drive further improvements in efficiency and effectiveness for CSG customers and suppliers.

“I’m confident these changes will provide us with strong leadership for both the CSG U.S. IBD business and our global CSG Operations team,” said Woods.  “We’re in the middle of launching our MY17 products to dealers and consumers around the world and just wrapped up our sales meetings in Europe and Japan.  We’re receiving excellent feedback to our MY17 product line and are thrilled to be launching it to dealers in North America later this month.”

With Hage’s promotion, Russell Merry’s main focus will be on the U.K. and the global parts and accessories business, as well as providing strategic guidance to the Global CSG Business.
