Dillard’s, Inc. announced  that merchandise sales for the four weeks ended Feb. 26, 2011 were $492.6 million compared to sales for the four weeks ended Feb. 27, 2010 of $499.2 million. Total sales decreased 1%. Sales in comparable stores decreased 1% for the four weeks ended Feb. 26, 2011.


During the four weeks ended Feb. 26, 2011, sales were slightly above the average total company trend in the Western region, consistent with trend in the Central region and slightly below trend in the Eastern region. Sales in the home and furniture category and the men’s category were significantly below trend during the four-week period ended Feb. 26, 2011.
