Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to close its store at Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca, Pennsylvania, according to local reports. The store has been open since 2007. The location is Route 18 in Monaca.

The mall has seen several other anchor stores, including Macy’s, Sears and JCPenney, close in recent years, according to a report by The Times. Boscov’s is the last remaining legacy anchor store.

Dick’s has two other traditional locations within 20 miles, including one at Cranberry Crossroads in Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania, and another at Robinson Town Centre in Pittsburgh. The retailer also operates a Going, Going, Gone! at Ross Towne Center in Pittsburgh, and opened a House of Sport at Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh in April 2024.
