Douglas W. Walrod has joined Dick's Sporting Goods as Senior Vice President – Real Estate and Development.
Mr. Walrod joins Dick's with 30 years of real estate, development and leasing experience. Most recently Mr. Walrod was with Sears Roebuck and Company as Vice President – Real Estate, responsible for the store growth program, including strategic planning, site selection, property management, and lease administration.
Mr. Walrod was also employed at Ulta Salon Cosmetics & Fragrances, Inc., a privately held retailer specializing in cosmetics and beauty products, for three years as Senior Vice President of Real Estate, and at PETsMART, Inc. for six years, most recently as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and New Store Development, where the store count grew from 60 stores to over 500 during this time.
