Dick’s Sporting Goods (DKS) will open its 40th store in New York and 665th store nationwide on October 14 at Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights, NY (650 Lee Boulevard).
The three-day grand opening celebration will run through October 16. The store will open at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
Former New York Yankees pitcher John Wetteland will make an in-store appearance from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on October 15.

The new location will feature Nike and Under Armour shops, athletic and outdoor apparel and footwear and the latest gear for team sports, fitness, camping, hunting and fishing.
