Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc. plans to open its first House of Sport in Thornton, Colorado.
The 90,000 sf space will be inside Thornton’s Larkridge Shopping Center. The Larkridge Shopping Center’s website states the new location is expected to open in late fall of this year.
Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open 14 House of Sports stores in 2026 and 18 next year, bringing the count to 67 at the close of 2027.
Dick’s has already opened House of Sport locations this year in Amherst, New York; Gaithersburg, Maryland and Cedar Rapids, Iawo. Other announced openings for the rest of the year so far have included locations in Greensburg, Pennsylvania; Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and San Diego, California.
