Dick's Sporting Goods has set grand opening festivities for its new store in South Plainfield, NJ. The retailer will reopened a newly renovated store in Columbia, SC.

The celebration begins on Friday,
September 13 at the retailer's new location in the Hadley Center (4999
Stelton Road) and continues through Sunday, September 15.  Special
extended store hours will be in effect for Friday (8:00 a.m. to 10:00
p.m.), Saturday (8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and Sunday (9:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m.).

Throughout the weekend, Dick's will host a variety of
giveaways, including a free Mystery Gift Card from $5 to $500 for the
first 100 adults in line on Friday and Saturday, a free Under Armour
Tech™ T-shirt for the first 100 people in line on Saturday and a free
Scratch & Win card, where every card is a winner, for the first 100
adults in line on Sunday.

On Saturday, New York Jets running back
Chris Ivory will make an appearance in-store from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.**
Ivory was recently acquired by the Jets after spending three seasons
with the New Orleans Saints where he began his career.

Professional bass angler Skeet Reese will also be in-store on Saturday from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.

The South Plainfield location will be the retailer's
17th store in the state of New Jersey and its 531st nationwide.

Separately, Dick's SG said it reopened its newly renovated store in Columbia, SC (1110 Bower Parkway) on Sunday, September 8th. 

The newly enhanced 59,000 square foot space will include additional specialized services and hands-on customer experiences throughout the Bike, Lodge and Golf departments, including a golf simulator, a club fitting center, putting green, an archery lane with an on-site bow technician, and bike safety inspections, custom fittings, tune-ups and assembly.
