Dick’s Sporting Goods and Boot Barn announced they are partnering to anchor a new mixed-use development called Kyle Park, a suburb along the I-35 corridor between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. According to state construction filings, the retailers are making a combined $32.9 million investment to build side-by-side locations.
Filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show plans for a 50,000-square-foot Dick’s Sporting Goods and a 15,000-square-foot Boot Barn at Kyle Park, a 101-acre mixed-use development at the northwest corner of Interstate 35 and Bebee Road. The new stores would push the total number of Boot Barn locations in the Austin metro to seven and the number of Dick’s locations to five.
Both filings note estimated start dates of Wednesday, July 1, and completions by September 1, 2027.
