Deuter USA, the US distributors for Deuter packs, hired Joe Osbourne as in-house marketing coordinator and Ken Porten of Voyageur Sales as sales representative for its Midwest territory. Osbourne, who has been Deuters in-house organizing force in administration and shipping, will take on the additional role of Marketing and Promotions coordinator. Prior to Deuter USA, Osbourne worked in the mortgage industry in Boulder, CO.
Voyageur Sales is a manufacturers representative firm that has been serving the outdoor industry for over ten years. Voyageur Sales territory includes: Minnesota, North & South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa. Ken Porten has over twenty years experience in the outdoor specialty business holding positions in both management and purchasing. Voyager currently represents Crazy Creek, Deuter, GSI Outdoors, Rome Industries and Superior Portage Pads.
