Descente North America announced that Kent Fried has joined their team as an independent sales representative serving the New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania territories.
Kent, who has been awarded SIA’s Mid-Atlantic Sales Rep Of The Year multiple times since 2007, will represent both the Descente and DNA brands in New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
“Kent has a great reputation in the industry as was evidenced by the numerous letters of recommendation we received from the territory and trade,” said Ryan Westenskow of Descente North America, “We know Kent will provide our retailers with an exceptional level of knowledge, service and assistance.”
Also announced are three additional recent hires to the Descente North America offices in Layton, Utah:
- Coti Hudgens, formerly the Descente sales representative for New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania, has assumed the role of marketing/PR manager. Coti will oversee brand development efforts for both the Descente and DNA labels.
- Eric Waterfall will assist Descente North America President Nori Higuchi with day-to-day operations and special projects. He recently worked at Apple and Red Bull.
- Weston Charlesworth will serve as credit manager as well as athlete promotions manager.
