Also on board are Jean Marc Emard for the entire Canadian province of Quebec; Kim Youngren for the Rocky Mountain region; Tom Delaney for the state of Texas; Doug Ritter for Arizona; the Mansfield Group to cover the entire Southeast; and Jeffery Winnick for New England.

Having a presence in the North American cycle market has been a top priority for Descente, said Nori Higuchi, President of Descente North America. It is a market with significant potential for our brand and we are committed to investing the time and resources needed to accomplish our mission for Descente-branded cycling apparel.

Hugh Walton, assistant manager of Descentes Cycling Division, said, We have made significant strides in building a powerful and effective sales force to represent Descente throughout North America. We still need to fill some open territories, including all of California and the important Mid-Atlantic States. We are also seeking help in Minnesota. We expect to have all territories fully represented by Interbike.
