Elite Outdoors, LLC, parent company of Elite Archery, announced the addition of Design Engineer, Mike Derus, to its product development team.

“I am very impressed with the Elite product and excited to be part of the team,” stated Derus. “One of the main reasons I made the decision to work with Elite is the company's business model. Elite strives to make the best hunting and target bows and places a major emphasis on its dealers and customers.”

Derus has spent the last 25-years working in the hunting industry for companies such as Golden Eagle, Bear/Jennings, G5 Outdoors and Barnett, designing the components of both compound bows and crossbows.

“Mike's years of experience in archery design engineering will obviously help our rapidly growing company. His attention to detail and focused work ethic will improve our already exciting line of Elite bows,” commented Elite Archery President, Peter Crawford.

“When we started talking about bringing a new designer to the team, my first choice was obvious, Mike Derus,” commented Elite Archery V.P. of Sales and Marketing, Garret Armstrong. “Not only is Mike more than qualified as a design engineer, but his exceptional communication skills will allow us to be more efficient and streamline our product development process going forward.”

“Mike's passion for target archery and for hunting will make him an important part of our strategic planning team,” said Crawford. “I personally am very excited to work with my friend again in a very team oriented environment. Elite Archery dealers and those who own our bows have a lot to be excited about in the coming years.”
