The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance (ADWA)has partnered with Deer Breeders Co-Op to promote the deer and wildlife industry.

The two organizations will work together to promote the deer industry and increase youth participation in the outdoors, according to a joint release.

“The Deer Breeders Co-Op is one of the fastest growing deer associations in the country and we are very excited to welcome them as a new member to the ADWA,” says John Meng, president of the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance.

“The DBC is extremely family-focused, and they understand the critical need for all of us to work together to educate our youth on the importance of land stewardship and wildlife management. If we fail to instill within our children a sense of value and understanding in the outdoors, we will fail to ensure that our hunting and agricultural traditions are around for future generations. We’re glad to have the DBC’s support and we look forward to working with them.”

Founded in 2008, the Deer Breeders Co-Op (DBC) works with organizations and state wildlife agencies across America to foster better habitat, hunting regulations and deer conservation programs that lead to a vibrant and thriving deer industry. In addition, the DBC provides collective bargaining and greater purchasing power for producers and professionals working within the deer industry, and their families.

To that end, the DBC constantly works with insurance firms, feed companies and many other merchants to ensure its members receive the best possible prices for products and services important to their businesses.

“The ADWA has been an outspoken advocate for the deer industry and youth participation, and we are pleased to support their efforts,” says Robert Williams, president of the Deer Breeders Co-Op.

“They have many youth outreach programs, including a growing FFA initiative that is introducing FFA students and teachers to deer farming. Our organization is strongly dedicated to family and we know that our children are the future of our industry. We must help educate them whenever and wherever possible, and we’re eager to work side by side with ADWA to achieve those goals.”

The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance is a non-profit organization working to promote the deer and wildlife industry and to preserve our American outdoor traditions. ADWA also sponsors Keith Warren’s Deer & Wildlife Stories, a nationally broadcast television program on the Pursuit Channel, and the Outdoor Patriot (www.OutdoorPatriot.com), a monthly podcast which features commentary and industry guests.
