DC Shoes, continuing its expansion in the Asia Pacific Region, opened four new stores in Eastwood and Cebu, Phillippines, and Seminyak and Nusa Dua, Indonesia. The brand has opened a total of seven stores in the area this year.

In a statement, DC said the new stores’ design is consistent with DC’s flagship store in Los Angeles, CA and creates an environment where customers can immerse themselves in the DC culture. The stores stock the most current DC footwear, apparel and accessories collections, as well as the coveted DC Special ProjectsTM family of products. Visitors to the stores, which feature imagery surrounding DC’s team of world famous board riders, can also screen the latest DC films.

“We are excited to have been in a position to open seven full DC concept stores this year in the region,” said Asia Pacific General Manager and Senior Vice President, Gary Parsons. “Each store is located within the best retail developments in each city and we are very fortunate to have some young, keen and passionate shop staff ready to help deliver the DC brand message.”

In the Philippines, the new stores have opened in Eastwood, servicing the people of the nation’s capital Manila, as well as the popular destination and exotic province of Cebu. The store in Cebu will play an integral part in supporting the flourishing local skate scene in a province that is quickly becoming a destination for international skateboarders.

These locations will serve as a platform from which DC will expand in 2010. Additional locations are currently in the planning stages for both Southeast and North Asia.
