David’s Bridal, Inc. appointed Kathy Cherian, who previously held senior finance leadership roles at Nike, as chief financial officer, effective immediately.
Cherian was at Nike from 2012 to May 2024 in various financial roles. The positions included head of revenue & profitability, global finance & corporate planning; head of strategic investments, North America; senior finance director, global direct business planning; and CFO, Nike Canada.
Following her time at Nike, she served as CFO at Chip and Joanna Gaines’s lifestyle company, Magnolia.
At David’s, Cherian will lead the company’s global finance organization and play a central role in scaling the company’s technology-enabled ecosystem across consumer commerce, Pearl, B2B marketplaces, media, partnerships and new revenue streams.
