Darn Tough Vermont hired Mootzilla Marketing as its sales agency of record to service its dealers in the southern United States, including Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.


“We depend on our sales representatives to help us increase the availability of our premium, American-made socks into markets far away from our Vermont sock mill,” said Mark Comcowich, director of sales and marketing at Darn Tough Vermont. “Mootzilla is well-established in their region and is poised to help us open new accounts as well as service existing ones through an experienced, dedicated sales force.”


Mootzilla Marketing comprises three partners: Lori Barrett who lives in Austin, Texas and covers South Texas; David Mootz who lives in Dallas, Texas and covers North Texas, Louisiana and East Arkansas; and Chad Shanks who lives in Tulsa and covers Oklahoma, West Arkansas and the Texas panhandle. Combined, this three-person team at Mootzilla has over 30 years experience in the cycling, running and outdoor industries. The sales force currently represents the outdoor brands Louis Garneau, inov-8 Shoes, Tifosi Optics, SKINS Compression, Club Ride Apparel and Honey Stinger.
