Darn Tough Vermont inked a deal to sponsor the Vasque Ultra Running Team. Darn Tough Vermont socks are designed, tested, and manufactured in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The Vasque Ultra Running team is comprised of 18 athletes that compete in premier trail running events nationally.
In the inaugural 2004 season the Vasque team took home top five finishes in 47 races, winning 18 and setting course records in 8. In 2005 the Vasque team won 27 races. The 2006 season has begun by continuing this successful trend. Team member Jorge Pacheco recently won the Rocky Raccoon 100 Miler by a margin of 1:40 running the second fastest 100 mile trail run in history.
