Cybex International, Inc. announced the appointment of Arthur W. Hicks, Jr., as its COO, beginning January 1, 2006. Mr. Hicks, 47, has served as Cybexs CFO since 2002 pursuant to a Services Agreement with UM Holdings, Ltd. As of January 1, 2006 this arrangement will end and Mr. Hicks will be a full-time employee of Cybex. He will continue in his role as CFO on an interim basis until a replacement is appointed.
Prior to 2002, Mr. Hicks principal occupation was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of UM Holdings, Ltd. Mr. Hicks is also a member of the Cybex Board of Directors.
