Cutters Gloves and USA Football announced a new partnership – with Cutters becoming the official glove of football’s national governing body.

USA Football fields America's national teams in a burgeoning international sport and leads the game’s development through educational programs while inspiring participation on all amateur levels. Endowed by the NFL and the NFL Players Association in 2002, USA Football is the official youth football development partner of the NFL, its 32 teams, and the NFLPA.

“We are pleased to have Cutters join the USA Football family through our multi-year partnership,” said USA Football Executive Director Scott Hallenbeck. “Football is a sport of innovation and Cutters’ story, born out of a passion for competition and built on advanced technology, has led to the preeminent high-performance sports glove. Cutters’ standard of excellence is a perfect fit for U.S. national team athletes in our country’s favorite sport.”

Cutters Gloves has built a strong following through the years, used by current football stars such as Anquan Boldin, Dez Bryant, Frank Gore – and many others.

“While many top pros wear Cutters, we are committed to developing the best, most innovative product for players at all levels of the game. We are excited to partner with USA Football as it allows us to reach a broad range of players, and gives us the opportunity to support their mission to promote the positive values of the game,” said Jeff Beraznik, President of Cutters Gloves.

National teams will wear Cutters at USA Football-sanctioned events, the first being the 2012 International Bowl on Feb. 1 when the U.S. Under-19 National Team takes on a World Team in Austin, Texas. U.S. National Team alumni include LSU safety Tyrann Mathieu, Texas wide receiver Jaxon Shipley and Virginia Tech running back David Wilson.

Approximately 3 million American children age 6-14 play organized tackle football, placing it among the country's most popular youth sports.
