Cutter & Buck said it will continue its relationship with LPGA golfer Annika Sorenstam after the winner of 72 professional tournaments retires at the end of this season. The Seattle-based company has been selling the Annika Collection of women's golf apparel for the past several years.

“I look forward to continuing my wonderful relationship with Cutter & Buck,” Sorenstam said after announcing her retirement on Tuesday. Sorenstam is a highly visible Cutter & Buck spokeswoman on the LPGA tour. The company also sponsors Australian golfer Stuart Appleby on the men's PGA tour.

“I look forward to continuing my wonderful relationship with Cutter & Buck. The ANNIKA Collection means a lot to me and I'm excited by the prospect of being even more involved in the growth and development of the brand in coming years,” said Annika Sorenstam.

“We've been so fortunate to collaborate with an athlete of Annika's caliber. She brings the same level of passion to the design table as she does to the course. It has been a pleasure to work with Annika and we're pleased to continue to support her as she moves into the next phase of her career,” said Cutter & Buck CEO Ernie Johnson.

Cutter & Buck was bought by New Wave Group AB of Sweden for $156.5 million in 2007.
