Cutter & Buck Inc. has appointed Tom Danowski to the new position of Vice President and Manager of the Marketing Group.

“We were looking for someone with Tom's skills and are delighted to further strengthen our senior management team,” said Fran Conley, Chief Executive Officer. “Tom brings a wealth of successful marketing experience and reinforces our commitment to building the Cutter & Buck brand.”

Danowski was recently a business development and branding consultant to national marketers and retailers. Previously, Danowski was COO and Chief Marketing Officer with Seattle's Best Coffee & Torrefazione Italia Coffee. From 1991 to 1999 Danowski held various marketing and product management positions with the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. As Group Director, he successfully managed the marketing function and the company's diverse portfolio of domestic and international products. Danowski has also held brand management positions with Coca-Cola USA and Kraft Foods. Danowski earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon in Eugene, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.

“I am very pleased to be joining the Cutter & Buck team,” said Danowski. “Cutter & Buck has always represented world-class craftsmanship, style and performance. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences building strong relationships with customers and consumers as we develop the Cutter & Buck brand to its full potential.”

Separately, the company said that Henry Fielding has recently resigned as Vice President and Manager of the Products Group. “While Henry was with us only a short time, he leaves some key improvements in our products processes,” said Conley. “We certainly appreciate what Henry has accomplished and we wish him well.”
