Dan Keen, most recently of Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceutiucals, joined the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation as the new Director of Development. Keen will begin work on January 15 and travel to the 2010 Shot Show.


Dan Keen joins CSF as the Director of Development, bringing with him proven sales, account and project management experience. In recent years Dan has led a strong team of top producing sales professionals and was responsible for hiring, training, and partnering with them to drive sales of Cardiovascular and Diabetes products for Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals.


“Dan's background of achieving sales goals and consistently exceeding expectations will bring a new and exciting level of development success for CSF,” said CSF President Jeff Crane.


Throughout his career, Dan has received numerous awards for excellence and leadership in managing pharmaceutical sales teams. Prior to his work with Sanofi-Aventis, Dan helped grow the pharmaceutical product division of Abbott Laboratories as a Sales Representative, Medical Center Account Manager, Sales Trainer and District Sales Manager. As a District Sales Manager, Dan worked with his team to drive sales results and develop his team members into award winning representatives. Dan was also responsible for managing an annual promotional and expense budget of $950,000.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University in Baltimore, Md. A lifelong sportsman growing up on Marylands Eastern Shore, Dan is a passionate waterfowl and deer hunter. He has enjoyed hunting experiences in several countries and brings a love of the outdoors and a desire to preserve our outdoor heritage with him to his new position.


His initial goals are to assist the CSF team by pursuing existing and new business channels in order to help the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation grow.
