CR Fitness Holdings, LLC, a Crunch Fitness franchisee covering the southeast and southwest regions in the U.S., announced plans to open two gyms in the Texas Dallas-Fort Worth area, including one in Saginaw, a suburb of Fort Worth, and another in Forney.
The Forney gym (35,000 square feet at 172 Trailhouse Lane) and the Fort Worth facility (36,000 square feet at 1653 Creststone Trail) are both expected to open in 2026.
Each new franchise location will be built out using Crunch Fitness’ 3.0 design, which includes a group fitness studio, a HIITZone training area with indoor turf, hot yoga, and other membership amenities.
Tony Scrimale, CEO of CR Fitness, said, “Our goal is to provide a welcoming, high-energy environment where everyone feels motivated to achieve their fitness goals. Forney is a vibrant and growing community, and we look forward to showing residents what makes Crunch unique.”
The Dallas-Fort Worth market is a key part of CR Fitness Holding’s plans for future growth. The franchisee operates seven Crunch gyms in the area and plans to open at least 9 additional facilities in DFW by the end of next year.
CR Fitness Holdings, LLC is owned and operated by Vince Julien, Geoff Dyer, Tony Scrimale, and Jeff Dotson. The company has 88 locations across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. There are plans to expand into Arizona. The franchisee aims to reach 100 clubs by 2026.
