The Crons Brand, a team sports apparel brand, has been named the Official Apparel and Uniform Provider of the Big South Conference.  The announcement of the 2-year agreement was made jointly by Big South Commissioner Kyle Kallander and Crons CEO and Founder, Pat Cavanaugh.

“This is an exciting opportunity for The Crons Brand to be partnered with an emerging Conference like the Big South,” said Pat Cavanaugh.  “Relationships with schools like these bring credibility to the brand and I also feel that the Crons message and mentality are a good fit for the values and philosophies of the Big South Conference.”

“We are so grateful that The Crons Brand has agreed to partner with the Big South Conference, said Commissioner Kyle Kallander.  “The only thing more impressive than its apparel, is its emphasis on achievement, setting goals, and motivating student-athletes to rise above adversity. The Crons Brand is the perfect fit for the Big South’s mission of Developing Leaders Through Athletics.”

Crons will be the exclusive provider of the Big South Conference Championship apparel and gear for fans, championship participants and championship teams.  The Crons Brand will be able to outfit Conference teams in all sports in game uniforms, practice and workout gear, and travel apparel.  Crons will provide Conference schools with its proprietary goal and character education curriculum, the Crons Achievers Program, for their student athletes.   Crons will also supply apparel for the Conference’s online store.  The Crons Brand will receive signage and other in-stadium recognition at all the Conference’s Olympic Sports Championships.

Crons (an acronym for Come Ready Or Never Start) is a motivational company and team sports apparel brand that has rapidly grown over the last two years with almost 400 teams and organizations covering 25 states now among Crons team customers.  It was the only new brand represented in the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, supplying customized uniforms to Robert Morris University, champions of the Northeast Conference.

The Crons Brand’s motivational line of team sports apparel promotes a mentality among student athletes that emphasizes reaching their full potential by outworking the competition, setting and achieving goals, overcoming adversity, and using practice and preparation to gain confidence and take advantage of opportunities.  Its founder Pat Cavanaugh was a two-year team captain on Top-10 ranked University of Pittsburgh teams.  He is the only former walk-on to achieve such an honor.
