Crocs plans to close its Aurora, CO distribution center on July 8, a move which will eliminate 37 jobs. The shoe manufacturer does not expect the move to affect any of the 390 employees at its Niwot, CO headquarters.

According to several media sources, the Aurora closure is a cost-cutting effort that will allow Crocs to consolidate warehouse facilities in its new Los Angeles, CA location. The L.A. facility opened in January and is nearly four times larger than the Aurora warehouse.

It has not yet been reported how much money Crocs will save by shutting down the Aurora facility.
