Craghoppers urged friends of its deceased sales rep Andrew Ludwig to memorialize him by contributing to Catalyst Sports, a Knoxville, TN organization dedicated to taking the disabled climbing.

Ludwig, 25, died June 25 while traveling on a work assignment, according to an obituary published by the Knoxville News-Sentinel .

“It is with great sadness that Craghoppers memorializes Andrew Ludwig after his tragic death last week,” wrote Craghoppers in a statement released July 1. “As one of our US sales representatives, Andy has been a great asset in the short time we have been able to work with him, and we will miss his great energy, sharp mind and quick smile. His work at the Catalyst Sports Group in Knoxville TN, helping provide adaptive climbing opportunities for people with disabilities, will also be deeply missed.”

Andy is survived by his mother and five siblings. There will be a public celebration of Andy’s life at Starved Rock State Park in Knoxville, and memorials can be made to Catalyst Sports Group to sponsor climbers with disabilities in Andy’s name. 

“We will continue to support his family and friends, please join us in sending peaceful thoughts and condolences at this very difficult and sad time,” Craghoppers wrote in its statement.
